Investors in Excellence recognises Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust-Division 3

Congratulations to Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust - Division 3 who have recently achieved the Investors in Excell

The Shrewsbury and Telford acute hospitals Trust provides acute health care to the population of Shropshire, Telford and mid Wales. It has two district general hospitals, one at Shrewsbury and the other at Telford, we employ over 4,500 staff.

Division 3 provides support services for the organisation, this includes, Out-Patients, Diagnostics, Therapy services, Theatres, Medical Engineering, Radiology and Pharmacy, we employ over 1,200 people within the division, on two sites, the Royal Shrewsbury and Princess Royal Hospitals.

The Investors in Excellence approach has allowed us to bring together all aspects of management and focus on the customer, the framework has allowed us to develop leadership, people and our strategy. It allows us to ‘hang’ our current processes within the model and drives the change required to become excellent.
